So the first of the live shows started this weekend and the fashion face-off began!

Tulisa and Kelly went head to head as they stepped out in the most talked about outfits on a Saturday night.

Kelly went dramatic with a black and green Atelier Versace number while Tulisa went for a nude Herve Leger dress – both opting for minis and pretty evenly matched in the style wars.

We were a little more impressed with Sunday’s picks. Kelly definitely stole the show in a beautiful Cavalli gown. Sparkling the night away it’s 1-0 to the US I’m afraid.

Tulisa chose another mini – this time Vivienne Westwood, but we can’t wait for her to bring out the elegant gowns – come on T, you can do it!

Elsewhere on the show, Kitty was as usual in her leotard-type outfit, 2Shoes looked fab in black on both nights (gutted they went out) and Janet Devlin looked a little more grown up with the Florence Welch hair and the gold tasseled number on Saturday – we do wish they would stick her in some heels though!

Amelia Lily rocked it up (for the last time), Sophie Habibas looked stunning as did Sami Brookes, who went for a toned down look. Rhythmix went for the young trendy look and finally Misha went all out Gaga crazy, but we love her!

We can’t wait to see what the contestants, but more importantly the judges, pull out the hat for next week.
