Another weekend, another X-Factor showdown as the remaining acts sung their hearts out for the chance to move into the final. With just a week to go until the huge event at Wembley arena, the acts and their mentors fought for the honour to perform one last time on the x-factor stage; with Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and Little Mix securing their place. Both Tulisa and Kelly are (thus far) neck in neck in the competition, although yet again it seems Kelly is winning the fashion stakes by a hair.

On Saturday night, Kelly made an impact in monochrome. The gorgeous Osman dress looked super sexy with side splits either side of the skirt, vamping up the otherwise demure upper half. Some simple Nicolas Kirkwood pumps completed Kelly’s signature look. We also loved her straightened hair and glossy bangs this week! Tulisa eschewed the mini dress on Saturday and instead chose a figure hugging bandeau maxi. It was refreshing to see her in a different length dress and we loved the jewel toned purple, which is so on-trend for A/W 2011.

Returning to her signature style, Tulisa wowed in a structured metallic mini on Sunday. The peplum waist and capped sleeves gave the dress a more demure feel and this was one of our favourite Tulisa looks ever. Unfortunately Kelly once again outshone Tulisa in the fashion stakes, not least because she dressed in the most sparkly evening gown we have ever seen! The Jenny Packham dress simply dazzled and we couldn’t take our eyes off it!

It was unsurprising Kelly chose to wear such a showstopper, seeing as she performed live on Sunday night’s show. If we didn’t have a reason to be jealous of Kelly before now, her sculpted and toned bod was clad in sequin hotpants and a bandeau bra during the mega-mix compilation. While we are not sure we would rock the same look on a Saturday night, her quick change back into the Packham gown for a return to the judges chair, had us envious all over again for the mega glittery number. If the semi-final called for frocks this fierce, we simply can’t wait to see what they will wear next weekend!
