- Ball and Chain day at London Dungeon
Head down to the London Dungeon and there’s a free gift for the first 100 couples to visit in the form of the ultimate symbol of commitmant- a miniature ball and chain. There’s a matri‘moan’ial horror theme all day, perfect for those who want to get away from all that cake and bunting.

- Shoreditch Street Parties
London is going to be buzzing with street parties on the 29th, and here is our pick of the quirkiest of the day:
Butterfly Social’s Toasts & Tiaras Royal Wedding Street Party at the Lamb Tavern will hold a day of food, fun and games in the pub and outside in Leadenhall Market. There will be wedding themed grub, comedy speeches and a cheesy disco to remind you of your favorite embarrassing uncle, and free entry for those who wear a wedding dress. Booking is Essential. (10-30am-8pm)
The Leonard Street Royal Wedding Street Party kicks off at 10am, hosted by Shorditch favorites, The Book Club, The Griffin and Pure Evil Gallery and is a FREE street festival for locals, hipsters, fashionistas, scenesters, patriots, fancy-dressers and party people, young and old. Expect live music, food and booze, plus a vintage fair laid on by Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair and Rag&Bow AND the reception will roll late into the night with a party at the Book Club from 6pm. Get there early to avoid disappointment!

If a street party doesn’t take your fancy then how about a roof party? Head to the Queen of Hoxton for the Royal Wedding Crashers Rooftop Party complete with OTT cake, a tipsy vicar, a free buffet and, of course, a screening of the day’s events at Westminster Abbey. In the evening, head downstairs for a SoulBrew karaoke special featuring a night of Prince tracks! (Party 11am-6pm, Karaoke 6pm-2am)
