The Q Awards took place yesterday, with the cream of the music crop arriving to take home their awards.

Jessie J stole the limelight with her edgy look for the day. She stepped onto the red carpet in a black bodysuit, which left little to the imagination. Paired with some chunky gold jewellery, red lips and DMs, the star also swept her signature fringe aside for the event.

The singer was nominated for three gongs and took home the Best Video Award for ‘Do it Like a Dude’.

Two of our favourite stars snatched the other two awards from Jessie, including Best Breakthrough Act, which went to new boy on the block Ed Sheeran, and Best Female, which of course went to Adele, who also took home the Best Track Award (‘Rolling in the Deep’).

Other artists attending the ceremony included Estelle, Tinie Tempah, who took home Best Male Artist, and Coldplay, who won Best Act in the World Today, as well as Gary Barlow who picked up the Classic Songwriter gong.

U2 took home Greatest Act of The Last 25 years and Noel Gallagher took home the Icon award.
