Cloud Cuckoo, One Flew over the Cuckoo’s nest, I’ve gone cuckoo and so forth… we all know these sayings, however there is now a venue that might change the conotations of the word forever.

The Cuckoo Club has arrived to London, and is serving drinks, food and fresh beats just off Regent’s Street. Naturally, I had to go check the place out. Nothing goes on in this city without me knowing about it! I wanted to go Cuckoo!

So… on Friday night and we are standing at the bar at Cuckoo for few pre-dinner drinks. The surroundings are pretty amazing. I felt like I’ve walked into some sort of pararrell universe, where everything is beautiful. The little details matter. The service is amazing as a standard and I’m drinking cocktails that taste like diamonds. We sit down for dinner and I really start to take it all in. Three words to describe the place? Luxurious, dreamy and inviting. I always get very excited about venues that are worth five stars, yet manage to feel “homely”.

We ate like royalty. I am not going into detail about the food as you really need to go and experience it. All I will say is that the sweet potato chips are incredible. The staff are great; know their stuff and are willing to help with anyting. Dinner music was provide by two handsome men playing Spanish guitars. Lush. You are having your dinner in totally relaxed athmosphere. I may have had the most delicious chocolate dessert ever. I may have. After dinner, I of course checked the club downstairs, where I was welcomed by a flamethrower (as you do). We pumped and grinded to fun beats, the crowd is very “cool” and everyone is having a great time. It is very chilled. Great place, seriously. Do dinner first and then you can just mosey downstairs to dance off the calories. Perfection.
