The Billboard Music Awards 2011

The big stars wowed the crowds in Las Vegas last night at the Billboard Music Awards, with steamy performances and barely-there outfits.

Rihanna and Britney Spears took to the stage together for the first time to perform hit song S&M, which was re-recorded to include Britney’s vocals.

Both dressed in bondage attire, with chains included, they crawled around the stage and even shared an onstage kiss, already being likened to the lip lock between Britney and Madonna that caused a stir at the VMAs in 2003. Although nice to see the two together, and Britney looking back to her toned best, it was a little bit weird having Rihanna sing live and Britney miming.

Despite RiRi taking home both Top Female Artist of the Year and Radio Artist of the Year, it was Beyonce who really stole the show.

Back at the top, Beyonce took home the Millennium Artist Award and also performed her new single Run the World (Girls) in a very revealing outfit. Holding the stage alone for most of the performance she proved she really is the Queen B when it comes to entertaining the crowds.

She also received personal messages before the performance, she was given huge compliments given by industry icons including Bono, Lady Gaga, Barbara Streisand and Stevie Wonder.

The stars also wowed on the red carpet. Fergie showed off her assets in a short black dress, Louboutins and an Alexander McQueen clutch and Nicki Minaj also turned heads in an eye-catching blue Mark Fast bodysuit.
