Bubbly new girl group VANQUISH have been chosen to perform at the ultimate girl’s day out; Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model LIVE, which takes place this weekend. We caught up with the four popstars to get to know them a little better and of course chat about fashion!

Hi Girls, for those who haven’t yet heard of VANQUISH, sum up your music in a sentence?
Lizzy Williams: Pure catchy popping pop tunes with high-energy vocals and beats.

How did you all meet?
Holly Davis: Through an open audition in London. We were chosen from hundreds of girls to form Vanquish. We are so lucky that we’ve all become so close and get on so well, there’s never been an argument!

Why VANQUISH?
Bee: We loved the name and the meaning behind it, to overcome and to conquer. We thought it was a strong word that we could each relate to and represented us well.

What’s the best thing about being in VANQUISH?
Rianna Morris: I love performing on stage in front of a crowd of people; nothing beats someone enjoying something you have created. And to do it with these girls is absolutely amazing.

Describe your personalities?
Holly: I would say I am a very bubbly and happy person who has always been very passionate about music, singing and performing. I love being silly and am not afraid to have a laugh, even if it’s at my expense! My attitude to life is to just grab every opportunity and don’t waste any time. ‘If you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much space’ is my all-time favourite quote!

Rianna: I am probably known as the joker of the group. I can come out with some odd things at times! I am so clumsy; I break and lose everything. I love to make people laugh but I am also a sensitive person. I like to stand my ground and can be opinionated.

Bee: I would say I am pretty warm, genuine, easy going and spontaneous. I love laughing, having fun and being silly! I’m compassionate, honest, can be a bit of a joker and love to love!

Lizzy: We all have big personalities so it’s surprising to people when we say we all get on so well, but it’s absolutely true, we are best friends! I am a confident person who loves to be with my girls. I have quite a sensible head on my shoulders (I like to think anyway) and I’m determined.

Let’s talk fashion. Your outfits are being designed specifically for BINTM LIVE, what can we expect?
Holly: I’m so excited about this because the choice is out of our hands and in Joey Bevan’s, who is designing and making four outrageous outfits for us which fit in with his ‘toy shop’ theme. We’re not even 100% sure yet, but expect big, glam dolls with crazy hair and make-up!

Lizzy: They will definitely be young, fresh, sexy and bold outfits!!

You have already been to some amazing events? What event outfit has been your favourite so far?
Rianna: Gia London lent us outfits for the Variety Showbiz Awards. They were very floaty and girly, a lovely change from our stage outfits.

Bee: Ah there has been a few but one of my favourites would probably be a little black, floaty bohemian-style dress I wore to ‘The Variety Club Showbiz Awards’!

Lizzy: I wore a gorgeous white shift dress to an awards night last year which I fell in love with! I wasn’t allowed to keep it though.

The weather is getting chilly so we are all on the hunt for our new season coat. What style will each of you be choosing to wrap up in?
Holly: I find it so hard choosing a winter coat! Short, long, dark, bright red, fur, buttons or toggles… I don’t know! I will probably flick through some magazines and try to find something warm but fashionable, that I can wear with any shoes! That’s always important to me!

Lizzy: I have already purchased my winter coat and it is gorgeous!! It’s a camel colour with brown buckles on it. It has a military look to it.

Bee: Ohhh, I can’t wait for a new winter coat! It’s going to be something warm and bear like for me. I want to look like a big brown furry bear! Faux fur!
Rianna: I have a gorgeous dark green trench coat from Urban Outfitters. I’m also hoping to get one of the ponchos as they look very snuggly.

Who takes the longest to get ready and who takes the shortest?
Holly: Hmmm, I think we are all quite equal here… It depends on where we’re going or what we’re doing. If it’s a night out I think I take the least amount of time getting ready! But I’m sure the other girls will have something different to say!

Lizzy: I think it’s a toss-up between Rianna and Bee for the longest and Holly is the quickest.

What is the one makeup item you couldn’t live without?
Bee: Foundation! For those shabby skin days.

Rianna: Foundation.

Lizzy: Mascara and blusher!

Holly: For me it would be Mac Studio Fix – it just seems to cover any blemishes and takes away shine!

Do you think your musical style is reflected in the way you dress and vice versa?
Bee: In some ways, yes. I suppose we like to bring an element of fun to both our performances and our style choices, keeping the all-important enjoyment factor and not being afraid to try out new things.

If you were running late for a release party and didn’t have an outfit pre planned, what would be your failsafe go to?
Rianna: Got to be the little black dress hasn’t it; you can team that up with some statement shoes and a bag

Lizzy: Little Black Dress with killer heels.

Finally, what exciting things have you got in line for 2012?
Rianna: We are releasing our debut single early in the year! We have been working so hard to get everything perfect and hope to do a schools tour along with as many gigs/radio shows as possible.

Bee: Continuing to spread the Vanquish love!
