Pixie Lott, the platinum blonde bombshell, is just about to release her second studio album. With a dramatic new crop, Pixie seems to have grown up a ‘lott’ since starting out her music career at the tender age of 17. iFashion takes a look at the Essex girl’s style over the past few years.

When Pixie first appeared on the music scene, her style was young and fresh and a little short. Citing her legs as her best feature, Pixie often showed them off in tiny hotpants. At the 2009 Isle of Wight festival, Pixie wore a rather brave ensemble of metallic silver shorts, a black boob tube and red hunter willies! Not to everyone’s taste, but the young starlet managed to pull the look off. Performing at the Blackpool illuminations the same year, Pixie wore a short and tight silver number again. Heavy black eyeliner is a signature Lott look and it seems that this occasion was no exception.

As Pixie became more successful, her style became more sophisticated and it is evolving with each new outift. Opting for the festival look and floaty dresses, Pixie was also seen in lace regularly throughout 2010. Her hair set in elegant waves, she started to resemble a true fashion icon.

High Street Label Lipsy certainly saw Pixie as a fashion icon, snapping her up in 2010 for an ongoing collaboration. They have continued the collaboration and Pixie’s newest pieces can be seen on the SITE.

After a short break from the spotlight it seems black lace remains a firm favourite as Pixie showed off her new bob last month! We like! A grown up new look that is more tailored and androgynous, we love the way Pixie is keeping it fresh.
