Trends this SS12 are not all about the outfits. Remember to stay looking super stylish with how you wear your hair!

Helped out by John Frieda’s fabulous new YouTube channel we are giving you some top tips on how to get that perfect SS12 look when it comes to your barnet.

First up it’s the big blowout. As seen on the Versace catwalk, big hair is in. Get those locks big and bold with the perfect blow dry. As suggested in the video above, stylist Giles Robinson uses the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Thickening Blow Dry Lotion to create body at the roots. Use a hair drier to lift the roots and get that catwalk look!

Next up is the Californian Waves look. Get the look, as seen at the Givenchy show, to give off a laid back style and get ready for when the summer sun hits! Giles Robinson once again shows us how to get the look at home. He suggests using Dream Curl Styling Spray by John Frieda before rough drying upside down and using tongs to create that California style.

For something to wear out in the evening try the natural updo. After towel drying, use some Frizz Ease Curl Reviver Corrective Styling Mouse on your brush and then brush it through your hair. Dry your hair upside down and then separate into sections and curl the perimeter. You then backcomb and pin the middle sections adding more and more sections and pinning up. Voila!

Finally if you want some retro curls, stylist Jake Davis shows us how to get that 1940s look. He also uses Frizz Ease Curl Reviver Corrective Styling Mouse and brushes through the hair and then uses some Luxurious Volume Thickening Blow Dry Lotion at the roots. Rough dry the roots to add body and then dry the rest upside down. Separate your parting and section off your hair. Then use tongs to curl large sections at the front and pin up the curls before starting on the back. Leave to set for 30 minutes and then take the pins out and brush through.
