It is a match made in fashion heaven! Our favourite new style star Rooney Mara has stepped out in not one, but two consecutive Givenchy SS12 looks. Riccardo Tisci is without a doubt one of our favourite designers. His edgy, modern designs are made for strong, unique and independent woman, so it’s no surprise Rooney has been drawn to The House of Givenchy.

In Tokyo, Rooney’s extensive The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo premiere tour continued. Yesterday Rooney made her appearance at Tokyo International Forum for the Japan premiere. A fan of black and neutrals, Rooney choose to flirt with the light side in a gorgeous chiffon dress, with satin details. The waved peplum waist and asymmetric hemline perfectly complimented her figure and she finished the look with nude leather sandals.

For the Tokyo press conference of her movie the following day, Rooney wore Givenchy yet again. This time she picked a more daytime appropriate look from Riccardo Tisci’s amazing SS collection. The ivory stretch canvas jacket again had a waved peplum waist; a signature detail in the collection. The jacket was worn zipped up to the top and paired with black leggings and simple black leather sandals. And we thought Rooney’s premiere outfits couldn’t get any better!
