Paul Costelloe kicked off London Fashion Week in ’60s style this morning as fashionistas from around the country descended onto Somerset House.
Costelloe had lots to live up to with Jimmy Choo and Autumn Phillips in the front row eagerly awaiting what was to come.
From soft coloured shifts to bright and bold ruffled dresses, there was a definite Parisian feel to the show. Loose fitting fabrics and pleats as well as the use of grey and muted tones gave the show a romantic theme. For some decade dressing we loved the babydoll dresses and micro minis.
With a cool and summery feel, models strutted down the runway in ankle socks and nude heels.
The menswear also followed the loose-fitted summer feel with lights and whites thrown in for good measure.
Just as we were getting ready for AW11 now we want to fast forward to next season!
