H&M has been making fashion headlines a lot lately, not least because of the hugely successful Versace x H&M collaboration. Now, it has been announced the next designer to follow in Donatella’s footsteps will be Consuelo Castiglioni, of Italian label Marni. The designer has been busy designing a one-off high street collection for the retail giant which will hit stores worldwide in spring and be sold online from March 8th, let’s just hope the website doesn’t crash this time!
Expected to revisit signature Marni pieces in celebrated designs, there will be plenty of vivid colours and all over prints. The women’s collection will include dresses, full pleated skirts, cropped trousers in fabrics that range from flowing silk to crisp cotton. We can’t wait to see what Consuelo Castiglioni has created, renowned for her modern and playful approach to print and colour combinations. We might be pulling out our thickest knits and warmest jackets at the moment but spring fashion is what we are really waiting for!
