The name ‘loungerie’ could be used best to describe the pieces, a term first coined in 2009. A fusion between bedroom lingerie and edgy, fashionable statement pieces that can be incorporated into a fresh and modern wardrobe, Kriss has started pushing the boundaries with her innovate designs. Traditionally associated with eveningwear, Kriss has started a new trend of wearing chic velour gowns out in the city.
It comes as no surprise that the designer has fans and stockists worldwise, producing two contemporary collections a year. Born in Estonia, all of Kriss’ designs are handmade in her native home, produced from the finest materials that are sourced from across the globe. This is just part of the reason her collections have such an international appeal. She also takes inspiration from cult heroines in film and literature to change the perception of lingerie; loungewear that is powerful and inspiring.
