Tom Ford’s first London show on Saturday is highly anticipated and we are willing to bet money he has some pretty famous faces walking for his collection. Last night London was glittering with all the pre-fashion week parties. The Rimmel event at Battersea Power Station set the tone of the week to come when Kate Moss landed in a helicopter, looking sultry in a LBD.

Today LFW started in the main tent, where London Mayor Boris Johnson and Harold Tilman CBE, the chairman of the BFC, officially opened the shows. As if this wasn’t exciting enough, Boris Johnson also revealed the BFC’s plans for 2012, when LFW will showcase during the year of the London Olympics.
