Collaborating more than Eminem these days, H&M is fast on its way to becoming our favourite high street haunt. With the recent Versace collaboration due to hit stores very soon (we can’t wait), now the super fashion house has announced it is launching a Girl with the Dragon Tattoo fashion range! And who better than the Swedish fashion house to launch the line based around a Swedish character?
For those who are not fans of the Steig Larsoon novels, or haven’t seen the films; the plot revolves around the escapades of anti-heroine Lisbeth Salander. Salander is Swedish, edgy, intelligent and generally cool. Hollywood caught wind of how amazing both the original films and the novels are and director David Fincher took it upon himself to remake the first, due to hit our screens Dec 26th. Costume designer Trish Summerville is designing the H&M range, ensuring authenticity, so we can all dress exactly like Lisbeth would!
Launching on Dec 14th in H&M stores and online (perfect timing for both Christmas and the film release), the 30-piece collection is full of attitude, whilst remaining very flattering. Lisbeth’s own style has heavily influenced the range; expect leather jackets, torn jeans and slouchy hoodies that embody a heavily Scandinavian and modern influence. Colour wise, don’t expect anything too bright as the shades range from deep blacks, tonal greys and bloody deep reds. The capsule collection which will sell under DIVIDED, is priced from a few pounds for an accessory to just over £100 for one of the motorcycle leather jackets. iFashion for one are completely sold!
