British fashion designer John Galliano was today found guilty of making anti-Semitic remarks.
The ex creative director of Dior was given a suspended fine in the Paris court for around 6,000 euros. The designer had faced a much harsher fine, as well as a possible custodial sentence.
Galliano was recorded in February making the remarks to customers in a Parisian cafe and later another witness came forward to say the designer had made similar remarks to her last year.
It is now wondered if the designer will return to the fashion world after being fired from both Christian Dior and own label John Galliano.
