Head down to Canary Wharf this weekend for the Fashioning the Future Exhibition. Celebrating sustainable fashion and innovate design, the exhibition is a showcase of the brightest student talent from the London College of Fashion by the Centre for Sustainable Fashion. The only student competition of its kind, the finalists who are selected at the Fashioning the Future awards tomorrow will have their work featured in the spectacular East Winter garden at Canary Wharf.
The Awards show, which is now in its third year, brings together a host of well-established worldwide fashion institutions to develop a course for the future of the fashion industry. The judging panel include model Erin O’Connor, author Lucy Siegle, chairman of the BFC Harold Tillman and eco pioneer Jo Wood. It is a brilliant way for both emerging designers to show off their talents and to push forward innovate ways in which to protect our future with sustainable materials and ergonomic design.
The exhibition is free to enter and there is no need to book. It runs from Friday 11th – Saturday 12th at 10am-6pm and Sunday 13th from 12-4pm. So head down to Canary Wharf and see the future of fashion!
