As time goes on, the link between the fashion world and the digital one continues to grow.
Klout, the website that measures online influence, has pulled together a list of the top 10 designers with the most clout across the digital world!
Number 10 on the list is Jaeger. With 1,198 followers on Twitter, the luxury British brand showed on Saturday at LFW (read the full report here).
Jasper Conran, Vivienne Westwood and Fred Butler came in at 9, 8 and 7 respectively, pushing Swedish fashion house Acne into 6th place with more than 26,000 followers.
Taking 5th spot it was Mary Katrantzou and in at number 4… Paul Smith.
Topman and Topshop took the 3rd and 2nd spots, meaning the winner and most influential designer/fashion brand is Burberry!
Burberry has taken the use of social media to a new level. The label offers true exclusives to followers which was no less apparent than with the ‘Tweetwalk’ show – which enabled followers to see the new collection at the same time as the celebs in the FROW.
Burberry was the first brand to really use Twitter to its full potential. Burberry is officially the most influential at LFW according to Klout and having more than 533,000 followers on Twitter it’s hard to disagree.
