Summer may nearly be over (boo hoo) but that doesn’t mean we want to let ourselves go quite yet. With the tendency to gain a bit of weight over the autumn/winter season, it is best to keep in shape prior to Christmas to avoid the feeling of guilt over eating one too many mince pies!
Santhosh Dance is a new fitness concept that has been launched in London and Ibiza. Going to the gym can often feel like a chore, not to mention the repetition is quite boring! Santhosh aims to fuse fitness and fun with a fusion of Asian and Latin American dance.
The Latin Burn is a cardio-vascular exercise which burns calories and tones whilst dancing to Latin American music. A great way to get into shape with a group of friends, the fun exercise is aimed to get the endorphins flowing and thus generate positive thinking and a sense of general well-being. Santhosh actually means happiness in Sanskrit!
To inject a little sunshine into your life, whilst feeling happy and healthy all winter long-you can join the classes currently taking place at Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill. From December, a Santhosh Dance studio will be opening just off Kensington high street. To escape from the stress of London life, several dance retreats will also be opened in an idyllic part of Ibiza in September. The Santhosh concept sounds like pure bliss to the iFashion team; we may even forget it is good exercise!
