Cheryl Cole has reportedly been sacked from the US X Factor. The 27-year-old, a judge on the new series, has been in the US only a matter of weeks.

There are conflicting reports and no one is yet sure whether Cheryl has definitely been sacked from the show. But, if the rumours are true, there seems to be a variety of reasons. Some say she is homesick and has actually chosen to leave the show, returning to the UK show. Others say she has been dropped by the network over her accent and US audiences not being able to understand.

There are also now reports the contestants were not taking Cheryl seriously, due to her relatively unknown status across the pond.

Whatever the reason we here at iFashion hope the rumours are not true as we are sure Chezza will be devastated and that this could be the end of her and Simon’s friendship!

Nicole Scherzinger is said to be Cheryl’s replacement on the show, joining other judges Simon, Paula Abdul and L.A Reid.
