The stars have all turned out to for this year’s Cannes Film Festival, with the eyes of the world watching. The big talking points so far have been films Sleeping Beauty and We Need to Talk About Kevin.

It’s not just the films though that have people talking. A long way from T4, fashion insider Alexa Chung attended the premiere of Sleeping Beauty, the controversial new film staring Emily Browning. In town for the Chanel Cruise collection, Alexa has been showing off her style on more than one red carpet.

Tilda Swinton wowed on the red carpet for the showing of We Need to Talk About Kevin. Tilda, who stars in the film as Kevin’s mother Eva, showied off an elegant look in her blue Haider Ackermann outfit.

Angelina Jolie was another arrival to Cannes yesterday to promote her new film film Kung Fu Panda 2. She looked demure in a light Ferragamo dress and matching shoes.

The parties were another talking point of the festival, of course, with the Calvin Klein party welcoming celebrities including Rosario Dawson, Vanessa Hudgens and Lara Stone.

Jessie J also arrived at the event, following in Lady GaGa’s footsteps yesterday with a performance for Le Grand Journal.
