Call the fashion police! News has just broken that the entire Marc Jacobs S/S 2012 has allegedly been stolen while it was on the road to the brand’s London press day. Where exactly the heinous crime took place is not yet known. Yesterday a statement was released by the brand, both apologising for the cancellation of the press day and also offering an evasive statement as to why. The statement simply said that the items went missing when being transferred from Paris.

Both the British Transport Police and the Metropolitan police have not yet confirmed the theft, or mentioned any further investigation into the incident. It seems likely either some very fashionable and deft thieves took a fancy to the luxury garments or more likely, counterfeiters wanted to make a quick dollar by reproducing the line. Either way, we are shocked and hope that the gorgeous collection gets returned to safe hands asap!
