Recognise these stars? Remind you of anyone? Well – they should! The are all related to celebs – and not just that, they are becoming (if not already) stars themselves.

We have to ask though, would they be famous if it wasn’t for their parent or aunt or sister’s celebrity status? And not just that, should they be famous or just left to enjoy childhood?

There have always been stars taking the lead from their family – look at Jamie-Lynn Spears – who had a crack at acting thanks to Britney’s fame. Or Solange Knowles, who writes with Beyonce, as well as having her own (not quite as successful) music career. Both Jamie-Lynn and Solange had children at a young age too… hmmm, is that a pattern emerging? Another pattern seems to be that the stars they are related to started young. Both Britney and Beyonce’s parents have been criticised in the past for pushing their young kids into fame and are they trying to repeat their success?

The latest selection of celebrity relatives look set to be even more famous than their mentors… but they seem to be getting younger and younger! At a time when stars seem to be having breakdowns or attending rehab on a weekly basis- is it OK to let youngsters into the club before they even really understand what it means?

Willow Smith follows in the footsteps of her brother Jaden, who is following in the footsteps of their dad Will, to become a young star. Willow released the successful single Whip my Hair when only nine years old! The singer is already mates with Gaga and has her own signature style – more than most of us manage in a lifetime. Will and Jada are quick to assure critics it is what Willow herself wants and they will be sure to keep her grounded.

Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts, at only 20 has notched up quite a resume. She also made her debut at aged nine, in film Blow, alongside Johnny Depp. Despite her mother saying she wanted Emma to live a normal life, it seems it will be anything but that. She has starred in a number of films, Valentines’s Day, alongside Julia, and the recent Scream 4. Looks like she is hot on the heels of Aunty Ju and there’s no getting out now!

Madonna’s daughter Lourdes decided to take a different route from her mother. FASHION! Having already established herself as a style icon and launched her own clothing line – Material Girl – she is doing OK for a 15 year old. With Madonna as a mother she was always going to be famous and let’s face it anything Lourdes has done – Madonna has bought the T-shirt.

Dakota Fanning was a very young star and was raved about for her acting skills at such a young age in films such as Man on Fire with Denzel. Now, though, it’s time she moved over and made way for her 13-Year-Old sister Elle. It definitely runs in the family to start young and Elle played a younger version of Dakota in I am Sam at only two-years-old. She may just beat you yet Dakota!

Finally we have Miley Cyrus’ younger sister Noah. Only 11 years old she has already acted in various TV and film roles, but it was her being the face of a raunchy new clothing line at only 10 which caused controversy! This caused a massive backlash, much like when Miley was seen dancing round a pole at the Teen Choice Awards!

There will always be arguments for and against young stars. Some turn out OK and some… don’t. At least we hope the parents of this latest bunch will know what to look out for as they have been there and done that!
