This week, we talked to German blogger Juule Kay, author of A Pretty Pass. With the most luscious pair of lips we have seen since Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the pretty and trendy young lady has big ambitions to become a fashion photographer. We love her wearable street attire, tinged with bohemian and rock chic influences. She documents her personal style in the blog alongside a plethora of inspiration and her travels, all complimented with gorgeous soft photography. Read on to find out more:

What inspired you to start A Pretty Pass
A Pretty Pass was at first just for fun, I never expected so much interest in it and I am so glad and thankful for every reader and follower. Of course, there were a lot of blogs and people who inspired me to think, “Hey why haven’t I got a blog?”. I realised that a lot of people feel inspired by it and that’s such an honour for me, so it became more than just an experiment and is now part of my everyday life.

How would you describe your signature style?
Oh this is a difficult question to answer because I just wear what I like. It absolutely depends on my mood, so it can vary a lot. At the moment, I love the Bohemian Style with feathers, headbands and Aztec prints but I also like the rock´n roll style, can´t do without my black hat and my rings! I am absolutely addicted to them. I always have to wear loads of big rings at the same time haha.

What are your tips for vintage shopping?
FLEA MARKETS, FLEA MARKETS, FLEA MARKETS! I really love the flea markets in Helsinki! There are also a lot of cool vintage shops over there. Another cool thing is MADE IN BERLIN & KLEIDERGARAGE, some vintage stores in Berlin. It’s always a little bit of luck to find something good but so worth it when you find old treasures! You can always google where your nearby flea markets are. My top tip is: Don’t search in big vintage shops; there. are a lot of cool small ones that house some treasures for you.

Who is your favourite blogger and why?
There are so many bloggers I really admire. I just can’t decide but I am a huge fan of CRUELTHING because I love her sense of fashion and she’s also a good friend of mine. Another blog you HAVE to know is BOHEMIAN MUSINGS. I just love her inspiration, her writing and her poetry.

iFashion is all about shopping online. What are your favourtie online boutiques?
Oh this is a good question! I love shopping at ROMWE, Urban Outfitters, Monki, Topshop and Asos.

What are you wearing this A/W?
I can’t be without a warming cape/poncho, snoods and some cosy boots. Anything that keeps me warm, because it is getting very cold outside. Oh and don´t forget some headbands.

What is top of your Christmas list?
Some cool stuff for very first apartment, things that hold memories such as photographs etc. Christmas is a big family weekend, I am really looking forward to sitting next to the whole family talking and laughing about good old times and looking at all these happy faces when they open their presents.

Do you think blogging has any negatives?
Of course there are. You do not have so much privacy when you blog about your life and there are always going to be people who do not like what you write. However, you can’t take it to heart as you can’t be liked by everyone. The most important thing: Find a balance between real life and blog/virtual life.

Finally, how do you see your blog a year from now?
I hope that I will still find blogging so much fun and of course that my readers continue to enjoy my blog.
