We love fashion bloggers here at iFashion. Giselle from Style of a Fashionista gives us an insight into her style and the best places to shop online.

How would you describe your signature style?
My signature style will have some kind of influenece from the ’70s. I can’t help but be inspired by this era but I also love a bit of ’90s grunge. Feathers will always be prominent as well as jewellery inspired by natural materials like shells, agates and crystals. I am also partial to a bit of leopard print. I love to team everything with boots, normally cowboy boots (in the summer) or some form of ankle boot and a couple of coats of Rimmel Sunshine nail polish.

iFashion is all about online shopping, what are some of your favourite online shops?
ASOS is the best online store, especially as they have started stocking international brands like Style Stalker and American Gold. Another online store that I have recently discovered is Amelie Boutique they have the most amazing jewellery and stock and some of my favourite overseas brands that are hard to find in the UK. Shampalove is another online find and I love their affordable pieces. For shoes, Spartoo is great for boots, especially cowboys boots. For vintage clothes I find Rokit and Beyond Retro to be the best. Oh and not to forget Yayer, a fave with us fashion bloggers as it is so affordable with a good mix of old and new.

Why do you like online shopping?
I tend to shop online as I find the UK High Street does not offer the looks that I love. Online shopping is quick and easy. Don’t we all love receiving parcels through the post?

Do you have any tips for online shoppers?
I buy a lot of pieces from eBay. A good search on eBay can bring up lots of fabulous things. I love cut off denim shorts and Levis 501s make the best ones. I normally pick them up for no more than £5! I will always search through eBay before I search other online stores. Another good tip is signing up for the emails of your favourite online stores. American Apparel is a good example as they always send you discount codes or offer a discount on your first order.

If you had 10 minutes to get ready for the day, what sort of outfit would you throw together?
A piece of oversized knitwear tucked into a pair of cut-offs. I would accessorise with friendship bracelets, a feather pendant and lots of rings. I would complete the look with a pair of Isabel Marrant-inspired tan ankle boots.

Whose style do you admire at the moment?
Gillian Zinser. I first saw her when watching an episode of 90201 and I thought ‘wow who is that girl?’. I totally love her style! I Googled her and fell in even more in love. I would adore to own her wardrobe, she has that laid back Californian style nailed.

Finally, what trends are you going to be wearing this coming A/W?
For me AW11 is going to be all about sparkle! I know that Topshop is going to be doing a pair of glitter ankle boots. I want to wear daytime sequins teamed with pleather trousers or leggings, lots of layering to get that grunge feel. I will also be investing in a a long shaggy hair fur coat.
