The Venice Film Festival, which began last Wednesday, has been a fashion frenzy, with stars such as Madonna and Kate Winslet dazzling on the red carpet.

This week we thought, therefore, we would centre our Best Dressed feature on the Italian event. Starting with Kate Winslet, who showed off her amazing figure in a Victoria Beckham AW11 dress. As always Kate looked classic and elegant and gave a nice nod to the former Spice Girl by wearing one of her gowns, which are quickly gathering in popularity.

Next up is supermodel Cindy Crawford, who looking stunning in a red Roberto Cavalli gown. The embroidered and sequinned one-shoulder dress, which Cindy wore to ‘The Ideas of March’ premiere, was definitely one of the best on the red carpet.

Madonna was another one to hit the headlines for her butterfly embroidered Vionnet dress, which she wore for the premiere of ‘W.E’. Trying out the ’40s look, the superstar had some fun with her sunglasses!

Diane Kruger rarely fails to look less than stunning and she did not disappoint at the festival. The actress took to the red carpet in a beautiful Ellie Saab gown and soft make-up, looking every inch the beauty queen.

Finally Bar Rafaeli showed Leo what he was missing when she strutted her stuff in an Emilio Pucci black jumpsuit for the ‘Carnage’ premiere. The star showed off effortless style and definitely deserves a place on our list!
