Best Dressed in Paris

La Vie est Belle. Life certainly is beautiful for the A List at Paris Fashion Week.

As we wave goodbye to our favourite month in fashion, iFashion takes a look at the celebrities who have shot straight to the best dressed list from Paris.

Leigh Lezark, our ultimate fashion week style icon, kept up appearances at both Viktor & Rolf and the Sonia Rykel show. Wearing a black mesh panelled dress with ruched red detailing; she took her seat on the FROW next to super stylist Rachel Zoe (who was hiding behind a pair of massive round sunglasses). For Sonia Rykel, Leigh opted for summer brights in an orange top and baby pink pleated mini.

At the Dior show, Gossip Girl Leighton Meeester shot to the top of our best dressed list. Wearing a demure white ruffled Dior dress, matched with strappy Louis Vuitton pumps; Leighton looked every inch the luxury fashion muse.

Poppy Delevigne, who has attended her fair share of fashion shows this year, wowed us again with her enviable style at Dior. A royal blue pleated dress, statement necklace and nude heels made for another wardrobe winner. If we weren’t already jealous enough of the British model’s clothing collection, Poppy dressed in a black lace top, slouchy aubergine trousers and suede booties for the Nina Ricci show.

Also seated FROW was Anna Wintour. Being the most formidable woman in fashion, looking immaculate all of the time is part of the job description and Anna certainly never lets her guard down. Polished bob, oversized sunglasses and a woven blazer flung over a prim dress was her look of choice for Nina Ricci.

Ciara, who has been under the radar musically for a while, turned up at no less than three PFW shows. Barbara Bui and Kayne West saw her in head to toe black but it was the outfit choice for Hogan by Karl Lagerfeld that really impressed us. Her stunning baroque-inspired Emilio Pucci fall dress looked dramatic and sophisticated.

Other bright young things who turned up the heat in Paris included the ever lovely Olivia Palermo and Jessica Biel at the Valli show. Both choosing to wear the designer, Jessica looked fresh in all white whilst Olivia went for a theatrical number with feathers, colour and texture.

Meanwhile, ‘it’ girl Alexa Chung brought a dose of British cool to France in a denim dress and courts, for Stella McCartney.

Always one of the most anticipated shows on the fashion week calendar, Chanel had an impressive line up of celebrities sitting FROW. Alexa made yet another appearance in a grey shift dress and Uma Thurman looked every inch the Chanel connoisseur in a tweed jacket and dress. The star that captivated our attentions the most, however, was songstress Florence Welch, who performed from a pearlised shell wearing a gown dripping in fronds, evocative of silvered seaweed.

After a full month brimming with exceptional designer collections, we didn’t think PFW could get any better. That was until Kate Moss took to the catwalk for the Louis Vuitton show. Wearing a white macramé dress finished with a full plume of ostrich feathers at the hemline, she stole the show. Who cares about the FROW when Kate is ruling the runway?
