The New Year is the perfect excuse to give your image and wardrobe somewhat of a shake-up and the celebrities are no exception! We take a look at the best dressed so far in 2012, to see what looks we will be coveting most this month.

Looking top to toe glamorous, Stacey Ferguson, aka Fergie from the B.E.P, looked like a gleaming disco ball (in a good way) bringing in the New Year in Las Vegas. If there is one dress that screams NYE, Vegas and ‘Don’t Stop the Party’ it’s this sexy number. We equally love Fergie’s bouncy, shorter do. Very sophisticated!

iFashion certainly has taken a liking to Rooney Mara’s impeccable style (as has the world). Wearing yet another amazing black dress at the Paris premiere of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Ms Mara looked stunning in the embellished number, complete with a cute heart-shaped mesh neckline. If she continues dressing like this she will make it onto our list every week!

Partly because it’s the New Year and partly because we are still in a festive mood (even though festivities have all but ended), Lady Gaga is making an appearance on our best dressed list this week. We adored the slinky Atelier Versace gown she wore on NYE in Times Square. The dress is actually a few seasons old, from the S/S 2010 collection. However, with its slinky flowing fabric and metallic sheen it is easily on trend for 2012 too! We are still not sure on the headpiece however…

Finally, Kim Kardashian may be based in the sunshine state of LA but it doesn’t stop her pulling together a great wintery ensemble. We love the chic white coat, cashmere circle scarf and the killer over the knee boots. If we hadn’t spent all our Christmas money already, we would be rushing to the shops to get a look-alike pair!
