Karl Lagerfield turned thoughts from the Cannes Film Festival last night with his Chanel Cruise show in Cap d’Antibes.

Guests flocking to Hotel du Cap stole the show and they weren’t even in it! Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson, Clemence Poesy, Alexa Chung and Vanessa Paradis all dazzled before taking their places under the white parasols.

A myriad of looks strutted down the catwalk. The show opened with mouth watering sorbet suits in yellow and lavender before morphing into riviera-inspired swimsuits, worn with boater hats and the traditional Chanel tweed jackets. It seems the Queen was ahead of the game at the Royal Wedding after all in her pale yellow outfit.

iFashion’s favourite looks were those with a nod to the ’30s; flowing gowns in cream silk with delicate appliqué flowers and geometric monochrome shift dresses. Looks were accessorised with real jewels, diamonds and pearls.
